PES Bright Futures Play Academy

Your child will use the main doors to the school.  They can leave their shoes on the shelf and come straight through, past the office to the Play Academy area.

Play Academy starts at 8:15.  Please help your child get ready for the day by encouraging them to put on their inside shoes and put their things in their cubbies.  Play Academy ends at 11:15.  It is very important that you are here on time to pick up your child.  Children can become anxious if you are late.  The Play Academy staff will help your child get ready and once I see you at the entrance I will let them leave the Play Academy area.

This is a list of what you will need to send with your child for the first day of school.

A backpack to put their things in.

A healthy snack and water bottle.  (No Juice)

An extra pair of shoes to wear inside.

An extra set of clothes that will either remain in your child’s backpack, or can be put in the storage room for the year.  Please put the clothes in a large ziplock bag with their name on it.

Good running shoes for playing on the playground.

Please label all of your child’s things as children often come with doubles, or forget what belongs to them.  That includes water bottles, snacks, shoes, coats, etc.  Thank you!!
